Sue Harrison

Sue has been with the Banner since the beginning. She has served as copy editor, covered Truro, Provincetown and the environment. She contributes to the special sections and has won awards from the New England Press Association for her writing. She is also a stringer for the Reuters News Agency.
Prior to coming to the Banner, Harrison owned and operated a leather design and manufacture business for 20 years. She has lived in Provincetown for 30 years. She worked on the town's Master Plan and served on the Planning Board for 10 years.
She was born and raised in north Florida, spent time in Texas and has traveled to Europe several times. For fun she writes fiction, does wood carving, builds furniture, gardens and goes fossiling whenever time and the earth with allow it.
