Our directories run in half page format, giving you more visibility. You can choose a one or two inch ad. Monthly prepayment is required and we offer three annual contract packages.

We prefer InDesign pdf files. We accept QuarkXpress documents. Please collect for output and include all art, logos and fonts. We reserve the right to change fonts if we can match them with our own Adobe fonts. We also accept PhotoShop, Illustrator or PageMaker eps and tiff files. Always include a hard copy. POLITICAL ADVERTISING:
Candidates for political office and organizations promoting sate or local issues, may run ads at the nonprofit rate of $13.40 per column inch during the six months prior to the election or referendum. This is a net rate, and it is not subject to any discounts. Prepayment is required for all political ads.

NON-PROFIT RATE:
We are pleased to offer a very special low rate to nonprofit advertisers - our lowest rate - $10.10 per column inch. No frequency required.

COLOR:
Spot color:$60. Process color full page: $150, half page: $100, Quarter page: $75. Color pages are limited and available on first come, first served basis.

DEADLINES
Display advertising deadline is the Friday prior to publication at 1 p.m. Legal advertising deadline is Friday at 1 p.m. Classified and Personals deadline is the Monday prior to publication at 1 p.m.

INSERT RATES:
$80 per thousand up to 1.0 oz. Each additional 1/10 oz is $1 per thousand.

ERRORS & CORRECTIONS
We strive for error free, high quality production of your ads. Please notify us immediately if there are any problems so that we can correct them before the next issue. We will run a corrective advertisement for that portion of the ad which may have been rendered valueless by typographical error, wrong insertion, or omission. PB shall not be held liable to advertiser for any loss that results from the incorrect publication of its advertisement.

GUARANTEED POSITIONS
We make every effort to provide you with your preferred position on a first come, first served basis.

PROOFS
Proofs of your ad are available on request if the ad is submitted by Thursday of the week preceding publication. We want your ad to run correctly every time.

TEARSHEETS
Available on request. Please order tearsheet quantities when you place your ad.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Invoices for advertising are due and payable upon receipt. Bills outstanding 30 days from the date of billing, will incur a monthly finance charge of 1.5%. Prepayment of all ads is required until credit has been established. A prepayment discount of 5 percent is available for all advertising paid in full, in advance, if payment is received prior to publication date and no past due balance exists unless otherwise noted. Credit cards are not accepted for prepayment discounts. All advertising ordered is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and may be edited or rejected at the discretion of PB at any time without notice or reason.

Provincetown Banner accepts…

1. We prefer PDFs - CMYK if your ad is color and fonts must be embedded. Please be prepared to send original document, art, logos, fonts - if we have any trouble with the pdf
2. Photoshop: Tiff or EPS files will be Distilled and converted to PDFs
3. QuarkXpress documents: Please collect for output so we receive document, logos, all artwork and fonts PLUS a PDF.
4. Illustrator file: Fonts outlined or Illustrator eps files
5. Word Documents without any art can be sent in Microsoft Word or typed into an email. We are unable to accept Claris, Wordperfect or Publisher documents or Microsoft Word ads with embedded art.

7. emailed photos are accepted as jpgs 200 dpi. Send originals directly from the camera, do not manipulate in any way. Photos should be at least 4 inches wide.
8. e-mailed ads should be saved as YOUR name and the date it is to run. Please do not save ads as "BANNER ad". Try to keep attachments 1 MB or smaller.
9. Due to dot gain, newsprint and ink saturation, reverse ads can be hard to read, darken photos or art and cause bleeding or ghosts to appear on the facing page. Therefore, we accept reverse ads on a first served basis and reserve the right to refuse them.
