In the Arts
Provincetown audiences may know Mary Callanan and Brian Patton as the popular piano bar performers who play everything from Cole Porter to Billy Joel — but that’s not what they’ll be belting out Saturday night. That’s because the pair is kicking off this winter’s New Provincetown Players Cabaret Series with “Hey There: The Music of Rosemary Clooney” at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Crown & Anchor, 247 Commercial St., Provincetown. (Tickets are $20, and benefit the NPP.) Read the story in this week’s Banner.
Also, read about this coming summer’s offerings at Castle Hill — the new catalog is out; a review of the Judi Dench movie, “Mrs. Henderson Presents;” Tracy Grammer at First Encounter; three nature-themed books just in time for dreams of spring; Forsberg early work at ACME in Boston; photos from last Friday’s opening at FAWC; listings; briefs and more.
