In the Arts
At the 8th annual Provincetown International Film Festival last week there was much to see: movies of fact and fiction and shades in between; movies for young and old, gay and straight; movies shot in-state and abroad, on film and on video, running two hours long or as little as one minute. Not to mention the parties. There was too much going on, in fact, for one person to experience it all — a surfeit of riches where the choices for discriminating movie lovers are often few. See this week’s Banner for a wrap-up of the festival including the various awards.
Also, this week, read about the new Grab Brother CD; a preview of two new WHAT plays; upcoming readings at FAWC and performances at the Provincetown Fringe Fest; listings; previews of shows and more.
