Gail Nelson as Billie Holiday brings the legendary singer back to life.
NPP season expands into music and more

The New Provincetown Players at the Provincetown Theater has announced their 2007 season, which includes music, new play festivals, a Tony Award-winning play by Edward Albee and Gail Nelson as the legendary Billie Holliday.

Shakespeare on the Cape, a Monday Night Concert Series and much more are on tap throughout the summer. In the fall, look for the Women’s Week play from Meryl Cohn, a ukelele concert, the fall Playwrights’ Festival, the Tennessee Williams Festival and holiday performances and events.

See this week’s Banner for the full lineup of NPP offerings.

Also, in this week’s paper, read a review of “The Lives of Others” by Loren King, a preview of Gays for Patsy’s Spring Stomp; listings and more.
