Pam Parmakian, candidate for a two-year seat on the Provincetown Board of Selectmen.
Clarification on Parmakian

Banner Daily Update posted Sat. April 28

In endorsing candidates for the Provincetown Board of Selectmen on p. 8 of this week’s paper, the Banner stated that candidate Pam Parmakian, because she is employed by Community Housing Resources, Inc., “will have to recuse herself from any discussion and vote related to housing issues.” That statement should be narrowed to say that Parmakian says she has an opinion letter from the state Ethics Commission stating that she will have to recuse herself from discussions and votes relating to housing issues that Community Housing Resources has a financial interest in.
