Sewer construction update

Banner Daily Update posted Tues. June 12

Shank Painter/ Rt. 6/Brown Street Crew #1

June 11—12 Finish sewer pipe installation on Shank Painter Road.

June 13—22 Install sewer pipe in Brown Street from Shank Painter Road to Pleasant Street.

Shank Painter Road Crew #2

June 11 Begin dewatering at Fire Station parking lot on Shank Painter Road.

June 11—22 Install sewer pipe on Shank Painter Road from Brown Street toward Bradford Street.

Winthrop Street and Court Street - Directional Drilling of Sewer Pipe

June 11—15 Set up and perform directional drilling affecting Winthrop Street at the Fire Station parking lot and Court Street at No. 33 Court Street. A section of Court Street will be closed to through traffic at times during this installation.

June 13 Court Street will be closed from Shank Painter Road to Watson’s Court. Homeowners and business will have access to their property. No through traffic.

***Water on Court St. will be shut off from Bradford St up to, but not including, Fay’s Garage on Tuesday, June 12, from 8 am until noon. Notices will be distributed to the affected customers on Monday, June 11.

Sewer construction schedule is subject to change. Seek alternative routes if possible. Any questions or concerns should be directed to Ron Gamella at the Department of Public Works 508-487-7060.
