Last weekend saw a full round of shows opening in Provincetown and a large opening in Orleans that featured over a dozen artists. (See today’s slideshow from those openings.)

This weekend 13 openings (listed below) take place from Provincetown to Orleans. See photos from these openings in the June 28 Banner and online next week.

In addition there are exhibitions at both the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Art Association in conjunction with this weekend’s Portuguese Festival and Blessing of the Fleet.


PROVINCETOWN

ArtStrand, 494 Commercial Street, (508) 487-1153. OPENING 6-9 pm Fri. Work by Paul Bowen, Maryalice Johnston, Charles Spurrier, Mark Milloff. Open Thurs., Sun., Mon. 11-4 pm, Fri.-Sat., 11-8 pm. OPENING 5-8 pm Sat. Beige Motel at former Pilgrim Springs Motel, Route 6, North Truro. Sand-crusted building and indoor exhibition.
