This coming Wednesday, Aug. 15, there will be a celebration of the life of Howie Schneider being held at Provincetown Town Hall, 260 Commercial St. at 2 p.m.
Schneider, syndicated cartoonist, author and long time Banner editorial cartoonist, died of complications from heart surgery on June 28. Schneider and his wife, Susan Seligson, lived in Provincetown for many years before moving to Truro five years ago.
All are invited to the Wednesday event.
