In a Special Meeting on Wednesday to beat an end of April deadline, the Truro Board of Selectmen convened to continue interviewing candidates for the Board of Fire Engineers. Three new members were named.
The Selectmen first increased the size of the BFE from five to seven members and after discussion re-appointed the four current members of the board and appointed three new members, each of them civilians with extensive fire and rescue experience.
New members are Arthur (Butch) Lisenby, Scott Brazil and Tom Rhoda. Reappointed Board members were Chief Engineer John Garran, Deputy Chief Brian Davis, Capt. Daniel Silva and firefighter Jeffery Perry.
