BANNER DAILY UPDATE

High school prom set for Saturday night

Banner Daily Update Sat. May 10

Banner Staff

The Provincetown High School Junior Prom is set to kick off at 8 pm Saturday, May 10.

The traditional event had to be moved from its usual location in the Town Hall auditorium because structural defects have closed the space. However, the event has been moved to the Paramount Ballroom at the Crown & Anchor Inn, 247 Commercial St.

The coiffed juniors are scheduled to begin arriving via limo or other creative transportation just before 8 pm. The march, where all the student attendees are presented to the crowd in a choreographed promenade, will begin at 8:30 pm.

The prom is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10.
