In the News

Hoping to fill what some call “a desperate need” on the Outer Cape, the Provincetown school system is set to begin offering day care and preschool classes this summer. Tony Teso, principal of Veterans Memorial Elementary School, said both classes will begin on Wednesday, June 28. The preschool program will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. every weekday except July 4th, though Aug. 20. Provincetown will also offer an extended-day day care program which will run on the same schedule from 2 to 6 p.m. Both programs will be housed in VMES. Read the story in this week’s Banner.
