A wax dummy wearing clothing common in turn-of-the-century Provincetown sits in a crowded attic next to boxes containing the town’s history.
In the News

An ambitious plan to rescue the Provincetown’s historical documents from the attic where they’ve been languishing is slowly gaining momentum. Last week the Historical Commission agreed to support a plan to bring thousands of virtually inaccessible photos and documents to light by digitally scanning them for a public access website. Town Clerk Doug Johnstone is spearheading the effort, called the History Preservation Project. See this week’s Banner for the story.
