Provincetown Sewer Construction Update
Banner Daily Update posted Thurs. Sept. 6
The following is the anticipated schedule of the Phase 2 and Manor Area sewer construction work to be performed for the upcoming weeks.
Pleasant Street Ext., Snow’s Lane, and Carnes Lane - Crew #1
Sept. 4-12 Install sewer pipe on Pleasant St. Ext. and Snow’s Ln. Temporary traffic detours and parking bans should be expected on Pleasant St. Ext. and Snow’s Ln.
Sept. 13-19 Install sewer pipe on Carnes Ln. from Race Rd. toward the end of Carnes Ln. Temporary road closures and parking bans should be expected on Carnes Ln.
Fire Station Parking Lot, Mozart Avenue, and Winthrop Street - Crew #2
Sept. 4-6 Install sewer pipe in the fire station parking lot between Shank Painter Rd. and Winthrop St.
Sept. 6-7 Install sewer pipe on Prince St. at the corner of Mozart Ave. and on Mozart Ave. up to house #3. Temporary traffic detours and road closures should be expected on this section of Prince St. and Mozart Ave.
Sept. 10-18 Install sewer pipe on Winthrop St. from fire station parking lot toward Bradford St. up to #15 Winthrop St. Temporary traffic detours, road closures, and parking bans should be expected in this section of Winthrop St.
Alden Street, Cemetery Road, and Manor Pump Station - Crew #3
Sept. 4-6 Install sewer pipe on Alden St. toward the Cape End Manor. Temporary traffic detours and parking bans should be expected on this section of Alden St.
Sept. 6-18 Install sewer pipe on corner of Alden St. and Cemetery Rd. and on Cemetery Rd. toward Wareham St. Temporary traffic detours and road closures should be expected in this area of Alden St. and Cemetery Rd.
Shank Painter Road Pump Station – Crew #4
Sept. 12-21 Work will continue in the parking lot area adjacent to the fire station on Shank Painter Rd.
