Sewer Construction Update
Banner Daily Update Fri. Nov. 2
The following is the anticipated schedule of the Phase 2 and Manor Area sewer construction work to be performed for the upcoming weeks.
Alden Street and Pleasant Street Extension - Crew #1
Nov. 1st – Nov. 5th Work will be performed in various manholes along Alden St. Temporary areas of one lane traffic should be expected on Alden St.
Nov. 5th – Nov. 9th Install sewer service connections and storm drain pipe on Pleasant St. Ext. from Snow’s Ln. to Brown St. Temporary road closures and parking bans should be expected on this section of Pleasant St. Ext.
Alden Street, Winthrop Street, Atlantic Avenue, and Commercial Street - Crew #2
Nov. 1st – Nov. 6th Install sewer pipe on Alden St. from house #18 to house #5 Alden St. Temporary traffic detours and parking bans should be expected on this section of Alden St.
Nov. 6th – Nov. 7th Install sewer pipe and structures on Winthrop St. between house # 1 and #3 Winthrop St. Temporary traffic detours and parking bans should be expected on this section of Winthrop St.
Nov. 6th – Nov. 9th Install sewer pipe and structures on Atlantic Ave. and Commercial St. from house # 3 Atlantic Ave. to house #158 Commercial St. Temporary traffic detours and parking bans should be expected on this section of Atlantic Ave. and Commercial St.
Whorf’s Court, Court Street, Carver Court, Route 6, and Pleasant Street – Crew #3
Nov. 1st – Nov. 3rd Install sewer pipe on Whorf’s Ct. from house #6 Whorf’s Ct. to house #9 Whorf’s Ct. Temporary road closures and parking bans should be expected on this section of Whorf’s Ct.
Nov. 2nd – Nov. 7th Install sewer pipe on Court St. and Carver Ct. from house #3 Carver Ct. to house #3 Court St. Temporary traffic detours and parking bans should be expected on this section of Court St. and Carver Ct.
Nov. 6th – Nov. 7th Install sewer force main connection on Route 6 in the vicinity of the wastewater treatment plant. Work will be performed on the shoulder of Route 6 in this location.
Nov. 6th – Nov. 9th Install sewer pipe on Pleasant St. from house #11 Pleasant St. toward Commercial St. Temporary traffic detours and parking bans should be expected on this section of Pleasant St.
Grace Gouveia Building Parking Lot and Manor Pump Station, 26 Alden Street – Crew #4
Nov. 1st – Nov. 9th Site work will continue in the parking lot area and pump station adjacent to the Grace Gouveia Building on Alden St.
Shank Painter Road Pump Station – Crew #5
Nov. 1st – Nov. 9th Work will continue in the parking lot area adjacent to the fire station on Shank Painter Rd.
