Provincetown Sewer Construction Update

The following is the anticipated schedule of the Phase 2 and Manor Area sewer construction work to be performed for the upcoming weeks.

Pleasant Street Extension - Crew #1

Dec. 4th – Dec. 12th Install sewer service connections and storm drain pipe on Pleasant St. Ext. from Snow’s Ln. to Brown St. Temporary road closures and parking bans should be expected on this section of Pleasant St. Ext.

Winthrop Street and Captain Bertie’s Way - Crew #2

Dec. 3rd – Dec. 7th Install sewer pipe on Winthrop St. from fire station toward Bradford St. Temporary road closures and parking bans should be expected on this section of Winthrop St.

Dec. 6th – Dec. 14th Install sewer pipe on Captain Bertie’s Way from Shank Painter Road to George’s Path. Temporary road closures and parking bans should be expected on this section of Captain Bertie’s Way.

Grace Gouveia Building Parking Lot, 26 Alden Street – Crew #3

Dec. 3rd – Dec. 14th Site work will continue in the parking lot area adjacent to the Grace Gouveia Building on Alden St.

Shank Painter Road Pump Station – Crew #4

Dec. 3rd – Dec. 14th Work will continue in the parking lot area adjacent to the fire station on Shank Painter Rd.

Paving – Franklin Street, Alden Street, Pleasant Street – Crew #5

Dec. 3rd – Dec. 12th Crews will be paving streets at various locations on the above listed streets.

Sewer construction schedule is subject to change. Seek alternative routes if possible. Any questions or concerns should be directed to Ron Gamella at Department of Public Works 508-487-7060.
