New website keeps you connected
There’s a whole new way to stay connected to what’s happening on Cape Cod with our new Wicked Local Cape Cod site (www.wickedlocalcapecod.com).
The new site, debuting today, will keep year-rounders, seasonal residents and visitors up to date on what’s happening in our region — whether it’s breaking news, entertainment options or recreational activities.
Wicked Local Cape Cod — fueled by GateHouse Media’s Cape Cod print editions, including the Provincetown Banner, The Cape Codder, Harwich Oracle, Bourne Courier, Sandwich Broadsider, Falmouth Bulletin and The Register — is informative, fun, essential and interactive. It’s the place to go for up-to-the-minute news and information on the Cape.
Wicked Local Cape Cod also serves as a portal to each town’s own Wicked Local site.
Wicked Local Cape Cod is a direct result of what we have heard from readers, viewers and customers — they want more online presence for Cape Cod. Visitors to the site can expect regular updates throughout the day. It will keep you informed of breaking news stories and information you need.
The new site has lots of multimedia presentations as well, all aimed at giving you the sense of place that makes Cape Cod a unique region. Stories and information will be regional in nature about the Cape, with the Wicked Local town sites still serving as a definitive resource for all things local about each of the Cape’s 15 towns.
“When we launched our Wicked Local town sites last fall, we heard loud and clear from people that they wanted more. More ways to find information and more ways for businesses to get their message out there,” said Mark Skala, publisher of Gatehouse Media’s Cape Cod region. “We have responded with a vibrant, terrific new site.”
