George J. Silva Jr., 64
George J. Silva Jr., 64, of South Yarmouth, died Sunday, Aug. 17. He was the beloved husband of Barbara “Bobbie” Silva for 37 years.
Mr. Silva was born in Barnstable and raised in Provincetown, the son of the late Irene (Lewis) and George J. Silva. Mr. Silva graduated from Provincetown High School, class of 1964. He owned and operated Silva Maple Company.
Mr. Silva was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed watching the Patriots, Celtics and collecting baseball cards.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his cousins, Phil and Roger Prada and Bobbi Finn and her family.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, at Morris & O’Connor Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth. Interment will be private.
