Pauline Doyle, 90

Tax accountant

Pauline Doyle, 90, of Orleans died July 10 peacefully in her sleep in Liberty Commons Nursing Home in Chatham.

She was born in Pawtucket, R.I., on Sept. 1. 1914. She was a graduate of the Slater Mill High School and Katherine Gibbs School. During WW II, she advanced to a consulting engineer for Raytheon and traveled between Boston, New York City and Elizabeth, N.J.

She spent 57 years in North Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She worked as an executive assistant for Jordan Marsh, Republic Car Loading and National Car Rental. She retired as a tax accountant at the age of 78.

In 2001, she moved to the Orleans Retirement Center on Cape Cod. She loved ballroom dancing, a good scotch and a rollicking party.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Doyle of Provincetown, and her grandchildren, Juan Carlos, Arturo Miguel and Isabella.
