Bruce B. Hills, 65

Worked at A-House, Sola Gallery II, Boatslip

Bruce B. Hills, 65, of Provincetown died suddenly in his home July 13.
Born in Newton, he was the son of the late Charles and Mildred (Manning) Hills.

A graduate of Needham High School, he attended the School of Practical Arts in Boston. He served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
He was employed in sales and upon relocating to Provincetown was a manager at Sola Gallery II. He later worked at the Boatslip and most recently at the A-House, both in Provincetown.

He was very involved in his immediate family including his nieces and nephews and loved researching family history. He enjoyed traveling, loved to cook and visiting his many friends. He cherished his cat, Pretty Boy.

He is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne Hills and his wife Aline of South Carolina, Barry Hills and his wife Tina of East Dennis, and Clark Hills and his wife Susan of Sandy Hook, Conn.; as well as four nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21, at the Chapel in Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut St., Newton Center. Family and friends are invited to attend. There will be a memorial service and a celebration of his life held in Provincetown in September at a place and time to be announced.
