Provincetown native, great great grandmother
Jacqueline R. (Costa) Souza, 77, of Marshfield, died Friday, Aug. 12, at Jordan Hospital, Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Manuel A. Souza.
Born and educated in Provincetown, Mrs. Souza lived in Cambridge before moving to Marshfield. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters, Lois-Ann Souza of Oceanside, Calif., Toni of North Andover, Bobbie of Marshfield and Jacqui Crist and her husband, Denis, of Kingston; two sisters, Emily Rodrigues of Marshfield and Helen Kelly of Hyannis; and three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. A sister, Pauline Dargan, and a brother, Ernest Costa Jr., predecease her.
A funeral mass was held Tuesday in St. Ann by the Sea Church, with internment at Couch Cemetery, both in Marshfield.
