Dorothy Earle Rose, 93

Worked for Wellfleet Chamber, Puritan store

Dorothy Earle Rose, 93, died on Feb. 10 at Epoch Senior Healthcare of Brewster. She was the wife of Ernest F. Rose and the late Frank Earle Sr.

Ms. Rose was born in New Jersey. She worked for many years at the Puritan clothing stores in Orleans and Wellfleet and later at the Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons, Frank Earle of Norwell and William Earle of New York City; and five stepchildren, Ernest, David, James and Ramond Rose and Dorothy Herold.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Feb. 14 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church of the Visitation Parish in Eastham. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Wellfleet is private.
