Mary I. Roggermoser, 86

Leaves family in Provincetown & Truro

Mary “Rogers” Roggermoser, 86, of Pascoag, R.I., died suddenly on Feb. 24, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Bernard “Barney Rogers” Roggermoser.

Mrs. Roggermoser, the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Dyer) O’Brien, was born in Providence, R.I. She loved extended visits to her family in Provincetown, spending up to six months of the year here over the last year and a half, and made many friends.

She is survived by a daughter, Madonna Tasha of Provincetown; a son, Bernard Roggermoser of Pascoag, R.I.; a sister, Geraldine Harris of Citrus Springs, Fla.; two grandchildren, James Tasha of Truro and Bethany Edwards of Provincetown and her husband Thomas Edwards. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Ryan, Chad and Cody Edwards. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward O’Brien of Chapala, Mexico.

A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 11 Prince St., Provincetown.
