James F. Silva

James F. Silva, of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Provincetown, passed away peacefully at his home in Honolulu on May 15 from cancer.
Mr. Silva was the son of the late Mary Belcher (Sullivan) and Joseph Silva, of Somerville. He graduated from Somerville public schools and Boston College.
He was the founder and owner of Silva Business and Tax Consulting, and he was an avid traveler, entrepreneur and patron of the arts.
Mr. Silva is survived by many devoted friends both in Hawaii and Massachusetts.
Celebrations of his life will be held in Honolulu and Provincetown, date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Francis Hospice, 24 Puiwa Road, Honolulu, HI 96817; Provincetown AIDS Support Group, 96 Bradford St., Provincetown, MA 02657; and Carrie A. Seamen Animal Shelter, 334 Commercial St., Provincetown, MA 02657.
