Karen Gustafson, 57
Karen Boyer Gustafson, 57, of Millbury and Eastham, died at home Nov. 14 after a protracted illness.
Daughter of Joseph and Marguarete (Dufresne) Boyer, Karen was a graduate of the Shrewsbury school system, she earned her bachelor of science in education from Bryant College and did graduate work at Worcester State College and Leslie College.
She was a teacher at Shrewsbury High School prior to retirement in 2005.
Mrs. Gustafson was a member of the Vasa Order of America, Quinsigamond Lodge 517.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Kenneth Harold Gustafson, and two daughters, Keirsten and Karlynn, all of Eastham and Millbury; her mother; a brother, Allan, of Shrewsbury; two sisters-in-law; two nieces, four nephews and one step-niece. She was predeceased by her father and one brother, Jerry, of Colorado.
There will be no visitation or funeral. Donations may be made to the Millbury Public Library, Millbury, MA 01527 or the Eastham Public Library, Eastham, MA 02642.
