Patricia Scott
Patricia J. Scott, 56

Patricia J. (Monks) Scott, 56, of York Beach, Maine, formerly of Woburn, died Friday, Nov. 1, after a courageous two-year battle with breast cancer. Trisha was born in Woburn, July 31, 1951, the daughter of Edward and Mary Louise (O'Doherty) Monks. She was raised in Woburn and spent many summers in Cape Cod with her family. She was a 1969 graduate of St. Charles School in Woburn.

Trisha moved to York Beach, Maine, 10 years ago, realizing her dream of living at the ocean. She most recently worked for the York Harbor Inn and made many friends along the way. In her spare time, Trisha loved spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, listening to music and cooking.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Callahan and her husband, Richard, of Tewksbury, and Julia Sheehan and her husband, Bill, of Nashua, N.H.; four-grandchildren, Joseph and Matthew Callahan and Ryan and Drew Sheehan; three sisters, Marilyn Monks and her wife, Diane Kleinrok, of Truro, Elaine Monks of Provincetown, and Cynthia Lynch and her husband, Paul, of Woburn; niece Vanessa Morris and her husband, Eric, of Medford; grand nephew and niece Jeremy and Liliana Morris. She also leaves her dear friend and ex-husband Gregory Scott and his wife, Linda, of Woburn.
There will be a memorial service at 10 a.m. Dec. 15 at St. Christopher's Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York, Maine.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in TrishaÕs memory to the York Community Food Pantry, 38 Woodbridge Road, York, ME 03909.
