OBITUARIES

Margaret E. Thomas, 93

Margaret “Margie” E. Thomas, 93, of Sanford, Maine, and longtime resident of Provincetown, died on Feb. 26. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Thomas, a former Provincetown Post Office employee.

Margaret was an avid reader, knitter and homemaker. She was also noted for her sense of humor and sharp wit.

Margie and Joe lived life to the fullest in their golden years residing in Maine, thanks to the unconditional love and devotion bestowed on them by Arthur Corale, husband of Margaret Dykes.

She was predeceased by her husband and her son, Joseph “Fluff” Thomas. She leaves behind her daughters, Margaret Dykes, of Sanford, Maine, and Nancy Roderick, of Provincetown, as well as seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in the spring, to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Newton Center, Activities Dept., 35 July St., Sanford, ME.
