Robert A. Stranger
Former cottage colony proprietor
Robert A. Stranger died on March 6 in his sleep after a lengthy illness.
Bob was the son of the late Ethel and Herbert W. Stranger Sr.
He had been living in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., for many years.
Prior to his illness, Bob was a floral designer for Nancy's Flowers in West Palm Beach, Fla. For many years before that he was the owner of Salt Air Cottages in North Truro.__
He is survived by his brother Herbert W. Stranger Jr. of North Truro; his nieces, Christine Lavenets of North Truro and Valerie Chute of Osterville; his nephews, Steven Stranger of West Yarmouth, Jeffrey Stranger of Centerville and Ronald Stranger of Orleans. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews.__
A graveside service will be held on what would have been his 72nd birthday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at the Snow Cemetery on Town Hall Road, Truro.
