Marianne Ward, 46
Marianne Ward, 46, of Provincetown died unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 26, in Wellfleet.
Born in Hyannis, Marianne was the daughter of Evelyn Amaral and the late Joseph Ward. She was a graduate of Provincetown High School, class of 1980.
She worked as a home health aide on the Lower Cape including a stint several years ago at the Cape End Manor.
She found joy and satisfaction working with animals. As a youngster she spent much of her time riding and caring for horses.
She touched many lives with her beautiful smile and her kind and gentle ways. She will be greatly missed by all of those who knew her and loved her.
In addition to her mother she is survived by three brothers, Joseph Ward of Florida, Christopher Ward of Centerville and John Ward of North Truro; four sisters, Evelyn Costa and Eileen Grosso of Provincetown, Suzanne Cook of Mattapoisett and Dorothy Morris of North Truro; plus several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Carol Ward. She also leaves two loving cats, Little Bit and Sophie.
