Lady Fishermen end season with 3-2 win over Sturgis

The Provincetown girls soccer team ended their season with a win.
Before that, the team, which had few players to begin with and then suffered the losses of several team members due to injury, lost a one-sided 9-0 match to Mashpee Monday afternoon at Motta Field. Despite the high scoring, Provincetown goalie Brittany Silva made several fine saves. The Lady Fishermen ended the season with a 3-2 win on Tuesday against Sturgis. Eighth grader Simone Rose scored all three of Provincetown’s goals.
